To all the staff at Netherclay. Thank you so much for your recent card – a very kind thought. We all miss her and it will be 12 months next week, but we do know she was very happy at Netherclay and well looked after and we all have many happy memories. I hope all continues to go well at Netherclay. Kind regards, N
My father spent three years at Netherclay before entering and nursing home as a result of failing health and more complex needs. In the latter days at Netherclay he needed a great deal of care and support, which was given to him with great compassion and without complaint. From the outset, everybody made him feel happy and he was treated with much respect and dignity. There was always a happy atmosphere in the home and staff shared much humour with my dad and he was kept busy with a very good range of activities and occasional outings, which she thoroughly enjoyed. I was always kept informed of any changes/intervention needed to support his needs. The home is very clean, comfortable and warm and the meals are very good (Evidenced by my father is healthy appetite).
With my thanks for another comfortable stay. Best wishes, C
To the staff and carers at Netherclay house. It means a lot to know my father was always looked after so very well. A huge thank you to all and some lovely people I spoke to. From here in Australia. G’day to you.
Please accept the enclosed cheque (to be shared among the staff at Netherclay) in recognition of all their help and support for H since she came to Netherclay into 2009. With thanks, P
To our lovely carers who came in on Christmas day for us. I would like to thank the cook and all the carers and kitchen staff on behalf of us old people, here, for coming in on Christmas day and giving us a lovely hot dinner and dressing up. That was so kind of you all. We wish you a happy Christmas and a good New Year. Thank you for coming XXX
Dear Kimberley. Thank you so much for your generous donation which will go a long way with the upkeep of the bells. We always receive a warm welcome and enjoy playing for you your residents. Wishing you all happy Christmas. Kind regards, AP
Dear Patrick … Thank you and all your staff your care and for looking after me so well. Much love, L
Dear team Netherclay. A visit to my mother A on Monday 5 November saw her sitting in the ‘blue room’ ready for the afternoons entertainment. Which I was also able to join in on. Music by Richard. It was delightful to listen to and even more so for me to watch the reaction of the residents which blew me away. They reacted so positively… it was a joy to watch them and heart-warming that you have these daily activities for everyone. Thank you so much, JB
Dear friends, … with Patrick and his lovely wife at the top and Julian next in line and all the carers, cleaners and Tracy for all the good stuff from the kitchen. How can you go wrong. Thanks again for everything. Hope to see you again. R
… This is from CH to say thank you for the bottles of wine you provided and the effort you made when she and her husband and brother came for lunch on 4 October. Catherine mentioned that all were very impressed with your French lingo and they all appreciated the kind gesture of making them all so welcome.
Thank you and your staff for making us so welcome on Wednesday afternoon to celebrate P’s 90th birthday. P is the last of our original members so it’s fitting to share this occasion with her. Again many thanks from Staplegrove Women’s Group.
I was at the dentist and there was a lady there called B with one of your care workers whose name I did not hear. B was awaiting a dental procedure and unfortunately was unwell and was embarrassed she had been sick. I was only there for around 30 minutes but the young carer who was with her was so attentive and patient I feel compelled to write. Although of course it’s her job, you hear so many horrible stories about those working in care that I thought she should be commended. All I can tell you is she had dark hair and glasses but I’m sure you can identify her as she was with B. B also made a comment telling another patient she lived in a home but felt very loved and cared for there which brought a lump to my throat. Again, testament to the treatment she receives. The young lady is to be commended and I wanted you to be aware as quite frankly it brightened my day! Kind regards, SH
To the management. Just a short note to thank you for arranging fitness sessions for your clients. I was lucky enough to attend one on 31 May with mum and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was evident that all the clients enjoy their time with the trainer in their own way. They were all allowed to access it at their own level and were encouraged very positively. The trailer is excellent. She has a lovely rapport with the clients and is very supportive. So thank you again for a lovely activity, for young and old alike. Yours, HB.
All the staff and management! Thank you for your gifts and best wishes!! Staying in the company to 10 years, I don’t consider you my colleagues but my family!! I will miss you all, N
Dear Patrick and Kim, we would like to thank you all for the support and care you have given to mum over the past four years. Netherclay was home to mum and it was lovely to see her so happy there. We are so grateful that mum now resides in Chelston. She’s only there thanks to your incredible support to get there. Cannot thank you enough and I shall really miss you all. I hope to pop in to see you at some point to see J and N. If you need any help with outings will be happy to help. L
To all the staff and management at Netherclay. We would like to thank you all for caring for B over the last couple of years. Your care and kindness was very much appreciated by all the family. It was a pleasure to visit Netherclay as it always felt like B’s home where she was very happy in her surroundings. Once again thank you all very much for your support and we would like to wish you all the best of the future. Kind regards, SW
